I've been neglecting my little blog of late but it is the party season and after a lovely night at the works do, we woke up to snow which was very deep, crisp and even.
:: The Summer House on Sunday Morn ::
I could not resist a walk along the beach although the roads to it were treacherous and mostly ungritted.
Wowzer look at the snow on the sea defence rocks - don't they look like giant bonbons?
Alfie enjoyed playing with his pink tennis ball in the deep snow.
We were delighted to see a family of seals swimming along the route we took. I ventured into the sea up to my knees to get this shot. Just look how close to the shore line they were and I did have to give in and wear socks and wellies this time. It was tooooo cold for Crocs and bare feet - even for me!

A pair of Seagulls posed for a photo.
Then back up the cliff to get ready for my Sister's Christmas party which involved feasting, a Pinata, a visit from Father Christmas and a little Elf. Ending with a massive snowball fight with new snow falling all around us.

Looks like you and Alfie had a great time in the snow. Hope you had a lovely Christmas and wishing you a very happy new year.

Those are fantastic photographs.
We have only had a couple of centimetres here in Leeds and it almost immediately turned into horribly slippy packed ice so I am quite jealous.
Have a wonderful christmas and a happy new year.
