The day started for me at 4.30 am and so I was thrilled to be the first ticket holder through the gates at about 11.00 am but it was a long, long wait (another 5 hours) until play started. Finally the rain clouds moved away to allow Andy Roddick to beat Dimitry Tursunov for a place in today's final at The Stella Artois Championship, Queen's Club, London.
On the way back to Liverpool Street Station and as the weather had vastly improved it was a good opportunity to take a few photos of St Paul's Cathedral and walk across The Millenium Bridge to cross the River Thames.

I just love London, it's beautiful and historic and amazing. You are so lucky that you can just hop on a train and you're there. What an amazing day for you.

BEAUTIFUL photos of the dome and the sky.
I heard about the tennis on the international news, and thought of you. And I'm glad the clouds parted. :)

Beautiful photos. London isn't anywhere I've ever really been, at least not since I was 3 yrs old anyway. At the beginning of Mary Poppins there is a (http://www.ellenshaw.com/dis_mp_staircase.htm )painting by Peter Ellenshaw which shows the rooftops of an Edwardian London - that's a bewitching scene. I'm glad you enjoyed your day - Wimbledon isn't far away now!
